How It Works

30 to 45 Minute Classes. Just Bring Yourself.

 

Our classes are designed for results so that you can access calm, present moment awareness and increase focus, productivity, creativity, memory and sense of purpose and feeling of happiness. All classes are led by highly trained and passionate teachers whose voices make you relax and whose personalities make you want to hang out with them. It’s that easy. Our mission is to keep it simple and interesting enough that you will want to do it all the time. The more you practice the bigger the effects. It works for everyone from the skeptic to the soul seeker! 

  1. Pre-register on our app, online or just pop in. PLEASE note that we cannot let anyone into class once the doors have been closed. We start promptly on time. Please arrive 20 minutes early.
  2. Wear whatever you are wearing, just toss your shoes and cell phone in one of our cubbies. Cell phones will not be allowed inside the studio.
  3. Enter the studio and grab a seat.
  4. Listen to your guide, who will instruct you to close your eyes and lead you in a meditation.
  5. With your guide’s instruction, gently emerge from your meditation.
  6. Leave at your leisure.
  7. Your guide will be outside in the lobby to answer any questions.
  8. Come visit us again. (And bring your friends!)

Principles of Meditation

 
  1. Breathe. Get grounded and experience your breath
  2. Focus on something (a mantra, a word, your breath, a body part, or a grape)
  3. Let go of the focus and experience the gap of pure awareness of the present moment.
  4. Think. When a thought pops into your head, acknowledge it and let it go.  
  5. Repeat from step 2

Studio Etiquette

 

Our rules are for your benefit

Unplug.

No cell phones or PDA’s inside the studio. There are no exceptions (we tried). Please turn off your ring/alert /vibration mode and leave it outside of the room. The front desk will hold if you are expecting an emergency or if you would like us to. One little beep can ruin a meditation.

Quiet Please.

Please refrain from speaking inside the room before or after the class. Our meditators like to quietly go in and out of meditation at their own pace.

Shoes.

Please check your shoes in the bench before entering.

Mindful Moving.

We want you to be comfortable so please move quietly when shifting positions and do not change chair positions mid class or rub jewelry or zippers on the ground.

Be Early.

Please arrive 10 minutes early for check in . We respect your time by starting on time. Late arrivals are disruptive and will no longer be admitted. Once the door is closed we will not reopen it. If the class is busy please only take one chair.

Wait To Enter.

Please wait until the doors are open before entering the room.
